Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about concrete leveling, our process, and what to expect.

engineering The Leveling Process

What's the difference between limestone slurry and regular mudjacking?

expand_more

Traditional mudjacking uses a dirt/sand/cement mixture that can shrink and settle over time. Our limestone slurry uses agricultural-grade limestone which is more stable, eco-friendly, and doesn't decompose like organic materials. This results in longer-lasting repairs.

Should I choose limestone grout or polyurethane foam?

expand_more

Both methods work well, but they excel in different situations. Limestone slurry is ideal for most residential applications - it's more affordable and provides excellent long-term stability. Foam is better for restricted access areas or when lighter weight is needed. We assess each job and recommend the best method for your specific situation.

How long will the leveling last?

expand_more

With proper maintenance (keeping joints caulked, ensuring good drainage), our leveling work typically lasts 10-15+ years. The limestone slurry creates a stable, non-shrinking base that performs well over time. Our less than 1% warranty callback rate demonstrates the durability of our work.

How big are the holes you drill?

expand_more

For limestone slurry, we drill 1-inch diameter holes - about the size of a quarter. For foam applications, holes are even smaller at 5/8 inch. All holes are patched with non-shrink grout that blends with your existing concrete.

How soon can I use my concrete after leveling?

expand_more

For limestone slurry leveling, you can walk on the concrete immediately and drive on driveways within 24 hours. Foam applications cure even faster - often within 15-30 minutes for foot traffic.

payments Pricing & Costs

How much can I save compared to replacing concrete?

expand_more

Concrete leveling typically costs 50-70% less than tearing out and replacing concrete. For example, if replacement would cost $5,000, leveling usually runs $1,500-$2,500. Plus, you avoid the mess, time, and landscaping damage of full replacement.

verified_user Services & Warranty

What does your 2-year warranty cover?

expand_more

Our warranty covers settling of more than 1/4 inch from the leveled position. If your concrete settles beyond this threshold within 2 years of our work, we'll return and re-level it at no charge. This is double the standard industry warranty of 1 year.

Can you work in cold weather?

expand_more

We can work in most weather conditions, though extremely cold temperatures (below freezing) may affect curing times. We typically don't recommend leveling during active precipitation. We'll advise you on the best timing for your project.
